AB-ZIN is an anti-cancer drug prescribed for treating pediatric patients and adults up to 21 years of age, who are suffering from refractory acute lymphoblastic leukemia. AB-ZIN prevents cancer cells by interfering with the synthesis of nucleic acids required in making DNA and RNA, thus stopping the growth of cancer cells. It prevents the cancer cells to multiply by suppressing the DNA. AB-ZIN is an intravenous injection, recommend taking under supervision of medical experts. Normally, it is given to the patients for almost five days in a row. However, the doctor takes the decision about the dosage of the medicine. Follow your doctor’s guidelines carefully. If you feel any allergic reaction during the treatment, inform your doctor. Share your medical history and other medications before beginning the treatment.
