Leutero 50 mg Injection is a derivative of folic acid which is chemically reduced and one of the several active. It is also known as calcium folinate. It is used to prevent side effects caused by methotrexate. ( Methotrexate is used to treat certain types of cancer) It can either prevent or decrease the harmful effects of methotrexate and pyrimethamine. It is also known as Folinic acid. Leutero 50 mg Injection is available in oral form and injectable for IM and IV administration. The chemical formula of this drug is C20H23N7O7.
